The exhibition is extended until the 7th April due to high demand.Soon I will be able to put up more images and update on how the Private View unfolded. I am looking forward to meeting the people behind this wonderful work and the finalists .I am not sure Tracey Emin will be coming for the Private View. I guess I will all find out that soon too.

'Inside I' - Belgin Bozsahin

Turkish sculptor Belgin's 'Inside' artworks are constructed from deconstructed female forms with hard crusted exteriors contrasting soft-coloured, smooth interior surfaces. She says: 'My sculptures are developed from my own feeling of how I am inside myself and how the interaction of an exterior life demands layers, a thicker skin, which whilst protecting also conceals and disguises, challenges an observer to look past it, (and to remind myself) to see what beauty, delight and surprises lie within.'

First visit to the Spirit of Womanhood Exhibition at the Oxo Gallery

I went to the Oxo Gallery yesterday to see how it all looked.  I was curious about the rest of the work and I felt they worked very well together.  There is a sense of quiet conversation taking place between the pieces.

It was rather a delightful surprise to see both my sculptures were occupying the corner space by the windows by the river-side entrance. The body cast is placed on the wall nearby, opposite Tracey Emin’s work.

This beautifully written article included the pictures of works of the finalists. I am honored that three of my sculptures among those highly inspiring and thought provoking works.

I was planning to start writing on my new work and my thoughts about it yet the recent exciting news  has changed all that very quickly; instead I did my news letter which I would like to post here as a quick update on the upcoming exhibition.

EVERYONE I HAVE EVER EXHIBITED WITH ... Not only am I thrilled to be in the Spirit of Womanhood Art Exhibition by invitation (all my submitted works were selected among 1500 international submissions  – very honored) I just found out that Tracy Emin is also among the exhibiting artists This Exhibition marks the double celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Women’s Interfaith Network and International Women’s Day.
